Research Interests 

Dr. Miller’s research focuses on understanding how older adults of varying backgrounds and abilities obtain, comprehend, and use health information to support their health and well-being. She is particularly interested in identifying environmental, social, and individual factors that empower economically disadvantaged older adults to use technology to support daily activities. Her work extends to identifying ways to improve the user interface for older adults and to design efficient approaches to technology training.
