My name is Evelyn Mandujano and I am a Master’s student in the Human Development Graduate Group. I hold a Bachelor's in Child and Adolescent Development with a concentration in Social and Community Contexts, from California State University, Sacramento. Under the guidance of Dr. Kali Trzesniewski, I am focused on advancing knowledge and practices that support youth development. My research and future career goals include developing curriculum and programs through the translational research process, exploring how youth engagement programs can positively impact adolescents' socio-emotional development, and examining the role of adult educators in fostering self-esteem, belonging, and growth mindsets among children and adolescents. Outside of academics, I enjoy spending my time working with youth as an Adult Volunteer for the 4-H program and at my local library. In addition to volunteering, I enjoy crafting, reading, and spending time with my cats.
