Caroline Williams
  • Major Professor: Dr. Daniel Choe
Bio

Born and raised on the farmlands of Yolo County, Caroline considers herself a lifelong Aggie. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development from UC Davis in 2024 and is proud to rejoin the Department of Human Ecology as she pursues a Master of Science in Child Development. In addition to her academic endeavors, Caroline works as a writer and executive function coach, supporting adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

Caroline's research interests include developmental psychopathology, neurodevelopment, childhood stress and resilience, poverty and other socioeconomic risk factors, and the influence of parenting behaviors on development. With over ten years of professional experience in mental health, healthcare, and educational settings, Caroline’s background has inspired her focus on researching child development and interventions aimed at improving outcomes across the lifespan.

When she's not on campus, Caroline can be found cooking elaborate meals for her friends and loved ones, engaging in community outreach, or making art and music at home with her daughter and their menagerie of spoiled pets.
