Bio

I am Hankyul Kim, an incoming PhD student from South Korea.

After graduating from Yonsei University with a BA in English literature and language, experiencing bereavement led me to pursue further education in Psychology. While getting involved in research projects and working on my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Catholic University of Korea, I decided to focus more on quantitative methods used in social science, so I studied Statistics and Data Science at Korea National Open University during the pandemic.

I’m interested in developing and studying better models to analyze intensive longitudinal data to investigate the mechanism between within-person changes in cognitive, emotional, and behavioral dimensions and other outcomes in research on development and family studies.
