I am interested in how close relationships, especially peer and romantic, during adolescence and emerging adulthood affect identity development, emotional well-being, and future relationships. My master’s thesis focuses on pubertal timing, ethnicity, and body dissatisfaction across middle to late adolescence. I am currently working on a paper looking at cross- and same-ethnicity romantic relationships, interethnic attitudes, and relationship quality, warmth, and hostility during emerging adulthood.
