I'm interested in children's psychopathology as a result of trauma, abuse or neglect, developmental and contextual risk factors and resilience in the face of such factors. My passion lies with early prevention and intervention strategies, well-being of foster children and children with trauma and maltreated children and social / public policy, especially in the sphere of child and family welfare. In conjunction with child abuse and neglect prevention, my developmental focus lies in early childhood socio-emotional development, mother-child attachment, emotional availability and best parenting practices, particularly concerning discipline and compliance.
