Major Professor: Dr. Lisa Miller
I graduated with a Master of Science in Gerontology from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor degree in Health Sciences and a Gerontology Studies Certificate from Indiana University School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. My interest in gerontology came from the close relationship I have with my grandparents. My research interest includes health issues in adulthood, physiology of development and aging, and the cognitive issues of aging.
I grew up moving back and forth between the United States and Taiwan, since my parents are both from Taiwan. I am accustomed to both American and Chinese culture due to exposure to both while growing up. Thus, other than English, I am also a fluent Mandarin Chinese speaker and an adequate Chinese reader.
For my hobbies, I love watching and analyzing sports like basketball and American Football. I love to watch the NBA and NFL, as a matter of fact, I have been watching NBA since middle school. I like to exercise and play some sports during my free time, since being healthy is especially important to me.
