Research Profile

Research Interests
My research interests focus on social factors and interactions related to the development of childhood obesity from early childhood through adolescence. This includes considering how parenting and parent-child interactions relate to nutritional outcomes and developing obesity (particularly in early childhood) as well as the role of peer relationships in shaping dietary choices in middle childhood and adolescence. I am also intrigued by the way these associations might differ across populations that are socioeconomically and ethnically diverse.
