    Research Profile

My main research interests are service-learning and experiential-based learning and how these learning approaches can promote positive youth development, build community and a life-long practice of service. I am especially passionate about looking into how to effectively involve underrepresented youth with these educational methods. Other research interests include asset-based development, community development, parent-child relations, and home, school and community relations.
